February 6th 2019, Karsten Moholt AS was awarded the framework agreement for condition monitoring, service and repair of rotating electrical equipment and pertaining equipment on all of Equinor’s installations. The agreement has a duration of ten years, including options.

Karsten Moholt has performed extensive services and repair assignments for Equinor for over twenty years. This frame agreement award proofs our endeavours to retain and develop expertise both in field and workshop, and to deliver quality in all parts of the organisation. It also shows the importance of having a world-class workshop for service, repair and lifetime extension of motors and generators.

In May 2018, Karsten Moholt AS was acquired by Hitec vision and Karsten Moholt Inspection & Repair Group was established. Aquamarine AS, Aquamarine Subsea Inc. and Teknor AS was implemented, establishing a bigger group focusing on a growing market for inspection, repair and maintenance in the hydro and wind power, oil and gas industries.
